Log Horizon Anime Review | Slide Mouse
They feel like people.
Log horizon anime review. I loved the focus on the mechanics and social aspects of an mmo world rather than championing action above all else like we see in most of the genre. Log horizon starts off slow with the usual setup of a no faults main character but with a slight difference. Log horizon is an interesting anime and came at an interesting time too. But log horizon is far from perfect.
This isnt a bad thing as the characters are very likeable and enjoyable. Hopefully a talented writer will elevate it to max level someday. For me it started slow and built itself up halfway thru the second season right now hope it remains as good as the first season. That difference is how the main character shiroe strategically approaches each situation that makes log horizon an exciting show to watch.
Log horizon had a huge amount of potential. Each of the characters in the show feels like someone you could have met in an mmorpg before. Log horizon is everything i ever wanted in a story about being inside an mmo. There was playing around with cliches and using them in surprising ways.
Log horizon is a shounen focussed on a younger audience as sao and contains some humour and the typical characters the childish the tsundere the food obsessed the love obsessed the oblivious etc etc. The mmo anime genre still has a long way to go much of the potential buried under laziness. Log horizon easily feels like the deeper of the two anime with far more thought put into the plot avoiding problems sao suffered from such as a creepy over used villain and lack of tension. Log horizon season 2 official trailer request an anime for review here log horizon s first season left me on a positive note.
